Find an aluminum one. They are hard to come by, but they pop up time to time.

if you really want to strip them, I imagine you would have to get it media blasted. Talk to someone local to you who does Cerakoting.

    Tuna said "Throw them away"

KNM said ok without a second thought

I am just kidding about the barrels. Basically, a barrel is a barrel and shoots good if your paint fits it.

I do have some raw Dye Proto barrels in 12" if you want to use those. They were cheap. PM me if you want them.

Just curious, but why the need to strip it in the first place?

Also, call me dumb... but I thought it was the INSIDE that was ceramic coated then honed???

Sorry, never had PMI, or ceramic barrel for that matter... but I thought that the benefit of the ceramic was it being a slicker surface to coat the inside then hone

If you are looking at getting the barrel anodized, don't worry about the inner surface. You only need to worry about the outer surface, since it is the only one you will see. The ceramic coating should prevent the anodize remover from working so it won't be a problem on the inner surface. The outer surface will be etched to raw aluminum so that you can have it anodized.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

    but the barrels are gone.
