Question AO: Can anyone identify this custom automag?

AO: Just wondering if anyone has the back story about this custom automag.

Hopefully someone can identify this so I can post this in the CMS. And/or purchase it.

That is sweet. Reminds me of the raw al space looking gun from the early 90s with the silencer that made it in APG a hand full of times.

By looking at it, it actually looks like it slides straight back in the frame, if you look close at the milling at the bottom of the trigger, it looks like it was milled that way to guide it straight back

WE HAVE A BREAK IN OUR INVESTIGATION!!! Thank god I posted this in PBN, did not expect much from it. Warning this news may be discouraging.

Link for the PBN thread. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...1#post78479260

Post that gave us more info: Stated as following

Here is another thread from 2004 where people were searching for the same thing.

    https://www.automags.org/forums/archi.../t-148761.html

    Quote:
Don't know much about it.. just that a guy on AO built that, cutom trigger frame, grip.. well.. everything on that marker that doesn't look stock he made.. Can't remember his name though..
    Quote:
That Mag used to be in the Gallery on the main page, but Webby took it down I think. They used to have a name with it, but I can't remember. What I do know is that he made the ENTIRE thing, well, except the mounting hardware, xvalve and the feedneck. It really is a work of art.
    Quote:
I remember when he posted this, he said that his wife would never allow him to produce any more, I also can not remember who it was, but here are some more pics.

I believe the trigger slid back and forth.

    thats all i remember.
    Quote:
all i remember is it doing som gawd awful amount of bps in a vis, adn it had an electro-like pull but was mech said the owner, trigger piveted from bottom (dont ask me why)
    Quote:
I remember that too. I really wished i had saved the vids of it. They were very impressive.
So this marker has been lost since 2004 (9 years ago people were trying to find the owner) and there were videos of it firing at one time. Enjoy your hunt hope I helped some!

I just did some more research and found the username of the person who created it. It is pretty interesting that he did this all by hand, just like Allen Hastie's Spacemags. I actually stumbled on the thread by searching the term "Spacemag"..... go figure!

    AO Username: DJELECTRO
    PBN Username: DJELECTRO
**Also posted on a polish paintball website.
**I e-mailed both accounts and they bounced.

    Finished the build on 06-22-2003

all is custom. the trigger is moving from the top and the center is kind of pulling back so you can adjust this thing very easily.
not for sale i did it just for my self.i think this mag will be impossible to price because i spend huge amount of time.my wife hate me for this.
trigger and the rest is my design .the trigger moves from the top not bottom and also has screw in the middle inside the frame i got spring pulling back the trigger .i think i got easily 20 bps on this trigger. my egg missed fief times and is rated 17+ need to buy halo.
is all sand blasted and clear anodized.comes to doing this again just don`t know i got vacations and all kind of other things to do and my wife she go nuts already.just don't know.and will be very expensive . this is done on manual machine not cnc so takes lots of time.give me some time to think .
the trigger is 100%mech and i used intelli frame .

AFTER LONG BREAK I GOT SOME PICTURES WITH MY MAG.
IT WAS DIFFICULT TO DO ALL THIS WORK BECAUSE I GOT NO ACCESS TO CNC ,THIS WAS DONE ON OLD BRIDGEPORT ALL BY HAND.
OTHER THINK IS I GOT LITTLE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT MILLING.FUNNY BUT REAL.I WILL CHANGE SOME THINGS AND GOT ALREADY IDEA . THE SLUG AND OTHER SMALL PARTS WILL BE PLATED AND THE REST JUST LIKE WAS BEFORE.SO LOOK AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

Sometimes I wonder if bunny's real job is a private detective. We gotta get A LOT more pics and specs of that thing. I want the specs of the whole thing down for future reference so we have the ability to recreate it if ever possible.
