Reg Piston Assembly Identification Newer Vs Older

Is there a way to tell the difference between the older Reg Piston assemblies in Classic and RT Pro valves versus the newer replacement ones that can withstand the higher pressures of the level 10? Different color O-ring?

From a visual point of view, there is no way to tell them apart, but it is easy to test.

Install it. Install a grey level 10 bolt spring. Turn up the velocity until it shoots. If it leaks out the back before it gets up to velocity, then it is an older low pressure version. If it shoots without leaking out the back, it is the newer high pressure version.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

    That helps, thank you.
