    Suuuuuuuucks!!

If you didn't know, on Dec 30 I was T-boned on my Harley by a Lincoln. Other than a bad headache and nerve/ligament damaged right arm, I'm OK. The bike's entire right side was pretty much wiped off the frame.

What SUUUUUUCKS is the beast has been in the shop since January 7th....and it's still not ready!!!

    ...meh. just needed to vent

They give you a date when they'd be ready?

And remember - it's just a thing. Things can be replaced. People can't.

Your eighth life has just been used up.
    You're on your last one.
    You've been given another chance.

Better sell it and get a pick em up truck old man before you are too busted up for anything but a Zippidy.

Sorry to hear. I almost cry every time I look at my thousand. Spun rod bearing. I miss that bike. But I would be totally lost without my other bike to ride. I feel for you. Nice weather and your bike isn't there.

Glad overall your OK. In the end that is more important than the bike. It will be fixed or replaced.

That's more like i-boned, where you are the dot on the i.

It's amazing what you can and can't get away with in a collision.

Here she is! Meet Pearl, the all new old Harley She went from the ugly factory black with cheesy red flames, to gloss white with just a sprinkling of blue flake that you can only see when the sun shines on it....and not in this phone camera pics.

Everything you see on the right side, is new, including the right side tank.
Entire front end, front wheel, both tires, pipes, all foot controls, handle bars, mirrors, hand brake assembly, throttle, grips, front and rear fenders. The only thing not replaced or repaired, was the motor, tranny, and frame.

Back on the road and causing trouble again...heh heh heeeh!

If it includes a new carb to replace this POS S&S Super "E", I'll take it. I'm about to chuck that crappy thing into the ocean. Nothing but trouble since I bought the bike; sticky float, so-called "custom" float needle seat won't seal, jet keeps backing out, idle screw won't hold, mix needle won't set. These are just the things I could "fix"!

Looking at a 42mm Mikuni that will bolt right up, and with minimal adjusting.

We don't deal in carbs. But everything from the valve springs to the crank I can help with
