    Thumbs up AO Fundraiser Plaque *FINISHED*

    What started as this....


    Ends up looking like this....





    It was anodized by FX Anodizing and the engraving was filled in using a laquer paint stick. I will probably have to retouch the engraving again, but I really like how it came out.



    What do you guys think??

    so you are the one who got the prototype.

    can you explain a little more on how this was acomplished i need CC to do 2 plaques for me.

    * was it solid ano then you went back and filled the engraved channels with a paint pen?

    KNM: Exactly. FX had a hard time racking it up for anodizing though. Also, applying the laquer paint was a PITA. If I were to do it again I might try bowling ball filler or something similar.

    ima send my two back to luke for bevel hole drilling in 4 corners for the purpose of hanging and making it easy on Stephen.

    so in other words you are saying i can anodize it whatever i want and fill the channels in later?
