    emag question

    ok so i dont have a battery in my emag and just got the charger in the mail the guy forgot to send me. can i touch the contacts of the charger to the posts that are above the battery pack temporarily to see if the electronics are good and the gun will shoot?

    can i do this with out frying the board or something else?

    can you take it to tha battery store and have them test it for ya?

    there is no battery.

    yeah but a battery store mite/should have a battery there to test the lowers???

    maybe...maybe not...but you can see if it turns on the marker as well as price a battery for it? an option is better than no option?

    Don't touch the contacts to the battery charger. The charger outputs significantly higher voltage/amperage than the battery itself.

    Someone around here recently posted that you can touch a 9v battery to the contacts (make sure to line it up correctly) and it will power on the board, but won't have enough power to trip the solenoid.

    which post is positive?

    I believe it's the back post, nearest the trigger guard. Take off your rail and you'll be able to see which one the red wire attaches to. The other post (front one I believe) just taps into the aluminum of the frame to ground.
