Those extra Classic RT air ports.... whatever will we do with them
When TK released the Classic RT he said that the extra air ports where there to power future air powered accessories that would be coming along (whether he meant AGD or not doesn't really matter). Those devices have largely failed to materialize. I am planning on mounting a STB to one for a pneu setup. But by far the thing I would most like to see is a pneumatic force feed hopper (other than the proprietary cyclone feed). The easiest way of doing this that I can think of (I and others have mentioned this here before) is to use a piston to turn a HALO type rip drive.
I don't have the know how or tooling to pull this off but I would love to see it attempted. I have HALO with a bad board and would be happy to supply the parts and funding (within reason) to see this pulled off. Any takers?

The problem i see with the design is the lack of a pulse. The cyclone uses blow back gas to cycle a piston, but the pressure from a rt rail port would be constant. I really think the best option for the extra ports is just the simple Pnuemag regulator placement. Potentially using a LPR and solenoid to drive a piston could work like you want but it wouldn't be purely pneumatic, but doable. With a LPR and SMC noid you may be able to mount a cyclone feed piston to a halo body using an itellifeed switch set up to trigger the noid. The problem is with out a board to control the pulse width you will get a very erratic cycle. There is alot more math involved than i feel like doing right now. Mabey later, but not right now.

I was sort of envisioning it as being paired with a pneu trigger to provide a pulse. One thing I would never want to do is put batteries on it as that would completely defeat the purpose.
