    cocker threads?

I've got a barrel that I was on the understanding was cocker threads. But it does not match the Rex M2 barrel that I have also. Can anyone help me confirm this as old cocker threading? Or something else? If its something else. How do I identify it?

Blue insert is the Rex. Pink insert is the one in question.

the one on the right is cocker threading obviously, the one on the left actually looks like bushmaster threading to me. if you screw it in cocker thread it will go like 1-1 1/2 turn then stop threading correct?

In the M2 yes. It threads in a turn or 2 and stops. I can actually get all specs tomorrow. Including tooth per inch. If that will help. I'm kinda hung here with a useless barrel.

B2K threads are a 4 point lead and generally have an oring groove in them.

i would guess either Impulse or Spyder. leaning more towards the spyder, the threads look metric.

It is not spyder. Shaft is a larger od than spyder.

Here are all the dimensions. Note the standard 16T gauge fit. But depth was wrong. The metric 1.5T fit perfect.

Although I agree with this 100%. Which is why all my mags are twist lock. That doesn't help me identify this mystery thread freak back. And I can't really sell something that I am not sure what it is.

Looks like Impulse/Ion threads to me. Oddly enough one of the few not on Docs list.
