    the summary:

    1) take macroline fitting to auto-parts store.
    2) ask to see some 1/4" OD brakeline
    3) plug in fitting to brakeline to make sure it fits
    4) tell them how much line you want(will need a pipe cutter to cut the line). better to get more than you think, as you will mess up the first time.
    5) install onto gun

Is the brake line that you get at the Auto supply store the correct PSI rating? When I was looking through Grainger IIRC, there was a lot of variation in pressure ratings. The thin walled stuff was only rated at like 580psi whereas the thicker walled line is rated @ 4k+.

i don't know if brakeline is aluminium or not, so here is what you can do.

    click on me

the anodized tubing on MCB was probably aluminium tubing for someplace like the McMaster-Carr. so quick method, go to autoparts store. longer but customizable method, order the aluminium tubing and send it with your gun to be anodized.

The standard stuff stocked at auto parts is a zinc plated steel tubing. I really don't think anybody is selling aluminum tubing as "brake line" due to the corrosion issues and liability that would be involved with using it in that application.

McMaster Carr will have what you need.
