Ano wear touch-up methods?

Not sure if this is the right spot to ask this or not but is there a method to touch up worn or slightly scuffed anodizing without having to get the whole thing redone? Mainly concerned with black ano. I'm talking less than 1/4" in size marks. Figured I'd ask before trying something random like nail polish. Thanks.

that's what i do; just get a permanent marker and color it. i wouldn't do this to something you plan on selling, nor would i do it to very large areas (as the marker will not likely match the anno perfectly), but for a small scratch it works ok. you can still tell, but from a distance no one will notice. if / when it wears off, you just color it again.

if its gloss, i've heard of people using car touch up paint. its an enamel so it should be tough enough to play paintball with.

Was originally just going to use sharpie, figured there had to be a better way, but I still may just do that. Car touch up paint is a good idea, might replicate the gloss a bit better. Might give that one a shot. Anyone think nail polish would be a good option?
