Rebuilding the motor after a oil injection pump failure 2 miles into the season last year . At 80mph there was no shutting it down in time. Melted down the top end. Seized it solid. Now its new cylinders, new pistons, rebuild the oil injection pump, rebuild the carbs, new fuel lines & tear down the lower end to inspect. Also gonna take the time to go thru the rest of the sled and check alot of little things.

Been riding "scoots" since I was nine, on the street since 15-1/2. Bought my son his first motorized vehicle at 13 months and his first street bike at 16. This way I controlled what he rode.
Here he is. . . . . . .
. . . . .and my point is. . . . .riding motorcycles is not a death sentence. More people die in car accidents annually than on bikes. Is that going to keep you from driving. . . . . . I'm guessing NOT! I will say this though, if you are worried about that then definitely DON'T ride! You need to be completely relaxed and aware, not focusing on anything but your surroundings! I have been riding bike for almost 50 years! Still KICKIN' with no plans to check out any time soon!
I can appreciate your fiance's sentiment but I hate that people even have that perspective! I am hoping to ride until I can't throw a leg over. When that happens than I am not sure I want to be alive anyways!
Only if I lived by your example.
Come on guys Im pretty sure he meant the swing.
I think I'd change my dealerships name.

I took the road least traveled...now where the hell am I ?
I dont know what I like better, that mustang or the F150 Kwik
Nice, to see one of those.
My fathers got a 63 Galaxie XL Convertible. He's had it for 30ish years now. I learned to drive a standard trans with the car. 390 Tri-power, 4 speed. Fast & fun as hell. We're on motor #4 or 5. It comes to me when he decides he cant drive it anymore. Which I hope is along time away.
This dealership is the butt of many jokes but has the best pricing around. They really have a strong following of customers in our area. They are just a small town middle of nowhere type place. Even put a bible in the glove box. They really dont care if they are politically correct.
Mine is just a simple sedan with a 352 V8 and the Cruisomatic transmission. Its a fun cruiser and rides like a dream. Mostly my Dad drives it while I am away. I bought it for a project car we could both work on since he retired and was getting bored. Interior is all original and very good condition for 89k miles and over 50 years old. We cleaned up under the hood but kept it stock.
94 Trans Am GT, till I blew the trans ...Boo!
I got to do a little riding this weekend.. GIGGITY GIGGITY GIGGITY!
Well now that I have been married for a while with kids my toy collection is all but gone now. Here are some of the cool rides I have had over the years.

Harley Chopper/Bobber
1978 F150 XLT Lariat 4X4 , 460 SVO on NOS with factory tilt and Digital CB
1976 F150 on 22's with a 390
My current ride is a 2007 Silverado LTZ 4X4 Z71 LOADED to the hilt
A big block on juice. Something ain't right.
I never used the juice, the bottle was empty when I bought the truck. It was built for mud pit racing and it had enough HP without the bottle...
