Thread: Decent place to buy quality microline?

  1. #1

Question Decent place to buy quality microline?

The microline (technically pneumatic hose) I acquired for my last couple of pneumag builds is significantly softer and more prone to blow off/out than any that I had used before. The replacement stuff I got on EBAY has the same problem. Can anyone here point me to a place to purchase some quality microline/pneumatic hose?

    McMaster-Carr

Look for the pneumatic hose, look at working pressures and order some. Now, if its blowing off the fittings, then its either your fittings, or the hose is old and no longer seating.

Just to clear this up, Microline is not what you need. The smaller-than-Macroline high pressure hose for push to connect fittings was called Microline.
You want low pressure tubing (cocker hose, pneumatic hose).

Anyways, I sell kits for cockers that should work well for pneumags (I don't sell individual feet of hose though). http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/d...k-sliders.html

I've got some of both and can confirm that the ans macroline sucks and is much too rigid, but the pneumatic hose is fine.

Also unrelated but I hate how their macro says "ansgear.com" on the side.

But yeah like, I said, the pneu-hose from them is a decent option if you can't find it anywhere else.

Didn't someone already say to order from McMaster-Carr?

Why try something that is cheap, when you can get the real stuff & know all the important things like: working pressure, burst pressure, ID, OD and in the colour you want(if that matters).

A top hat will keep the hose on the barb, no? PM me, I have several and I don't need them. All i'd need is $.50 or whatever for a stamp.

I ordered some new hose and fittings from Air Soldier. I missed your post earlier. Thank you, I will definitely take you up on those. PM me your PayPal addy and I'll send you some bucks.
