    It did, it wasn't deep enough. I don't know why it didn't have a to-spec zlock grove.

    The z lock is a fail safe. The pin is use less in that body.

    The z lock also isn't effective on the xmag bodies either

    Yes it is effective. It will stop the reg halves from unscrewing...same as that Evo body will.

    Unscrewing yes I thought you meant releasing outwards like the catch design on a rail
