    Cool The "New" Old School

Got my Gmek frame in today.

Turns the Planet Eclipse Gtek into a mechanical marker.

Not as nice a trigger as I had hoped, but better than a cocker slider.

Does have a slight bit of front to back slop like a mag does sometimes.

Looking forward to playing with it.

I think there are trigger adjustment screws that can take that up.

Played with adjusting the two screws a bit but any changes weren't noticeably.

Still have yet to play with it, I did shoot some in the back yard and it is fun to shoot.

No I actually almost like it.

100 times better than the slide on that other one I bought....

With a little practice they will be telling me I'm firing too fast.

But I do have to have that Emek with the hinge frame too.

    And a CS2 while I'm at it....

    Love me some gamma core.

nifty i guess. i don't play with those markers so i wouldnt know the draw of them.
im making a frame for the mag guys that's mechanical , mechanical frames are neat.

    Cracks me up...
10 years ago planet eclipse was selling an e frame for the autococker toting it as the baddest thing on the planet.
Now they are selling a mech frame for a electric gun...

Just me? No one else see the irony?

It's the cyclic world. As common place as it was 12 years ago to electrofy a cocker, electros are now the norm and being in abundance. Plus, PE does not have a mech in their stable, so it makes sense in R & D to have a gun that can be switched from the base to mech.

Zondo, also before you go wanting a double trigger for it, shoot it. I didn't like it, as it was close to a cocker slider but different enough that i personally didn't like it.

My opinion the trigger is way better than a cocker, I can't tolerate a cocker slider at all.

But it doesn't surprise me that we have opposite views.

Used the Gmek today all day.

Thought I would be getting outgunned but that didnt happen.

Glad I got it, fun to shoot.

How does trigger compare to a mech mag with stock RT/X, OR AIR valves? How about ULT?
From a poster at PB Nation:

""Jim, back to your cave. Bob Long is on the batphone..."

    MY FEEDBACK

    https://legacymods.com

    Anyone seen that ?

I am going to have to get one for the other Gtek I have.

I've a preference for double triggers anyway.

Boston paintball has a video out covering it. It looks a lot nicer than the standard gmech to me.

I actually talked to the guy that was making them. Seems like a cooly guy. I don't think he was trying to start an arms race or anything just trying to come out with a walkable drop in option.

Out of curiosity: can one electrify the single trigger frames as well? I acually think it would be cool to have a single trigger electronic marker again.

By thw way, that GMEK of your is astonishingly beautiful, going_home!

What a shame... Is it because they have something inside the frame that would prevent one from installing the corresponding electronics?
