I happened to be on when I got a notice that you posted, when I checked the picture of material wasn't up yet. As I was about to respond where to send payment, I decided to double check your post and saw the pic of the material. Than I got the the context of, and so it begins.

Walking stick , back in post #140 something I asked xmt if the new aluminum classic bodies would solve the pesky banjo bolt oring problem and you responded in post #146 that the banjo bolt was designed specifically for the classic, I understand that the classic uses the banjo bolt solely but does the new xmt body solve the issues with the o rings getting bound up when removing banjo bolt from frame?

That is a result of everything not being aligned when installing or removing the banjo bolt.

Always keep the front screw of the frame loose when installing or removing the banjo. This allows the parts to float on assembly. Then after the banjo is in place you tighten the front screw.

For 20 years ive been doing it that way and never damaged a single banjo oring.

Thank you guys for the response, I've actually tried everything that I've read here in the forum to no avail. Brand new banjo bolt, o rings , different frames, etc. From what I can tell the bevel where the middle o ring sits, the oring is somehow riding up on the bevel when removing banjo bolt. Yes I know when things are set properly you usually don't have take the bolt out for awhile but when tuning a level 10 it's a nightmare. I hope I'm not in someway hijacking this thread(moderators please move if you see fit) was just curios if this new body helped with that problem in some way

I've never had a problem with any of the 5-6 RTs I've owned over the years. Like cougar said you leave the frame screw loose when you put banjo bolt in.
You might have a burr on your body that's cutting the orings.

    I can't believe I missed that topic :-(

Still possible to order few ones please ?

If yes, I'm in for 2
    - 1 ULE with MM front
    - if possible 1 with same design as requested by going_home - gloss (and if not, i'll take 1 ULE with RT front)

Make the front like an RPG Exile body ?

I'd take two of them if so, I hate that cheese grater.
