Glad SOMEONE mentioned Bad religion. Older offspring is better than new offspring. Molotov is an interesting Mexican punk band. I've always been more into the less chaotic sounding stuff

Just a tiny bit off-topic, but you don't have to dress the part for punk. Nothing bugs me more than hot topic storebought punkers.

Okay I don't remeber why I didn't think of this before. Go to www.wsou.net its a college radio station that plays punk, metal, and hardcore stuff. You can listen to them on-line. I'm always listening to them in the car and the computer. They play alot of what I listed. Check it out

    Nuggets of Punk Wisdom

Punk is not a way of dressing, it is not a type of music. It is not a code of ethics. Punk is a state of mind. Someone who goes against the grain to accomplish a goal or prove a point, that is punk. My senior thesis paper was actually on the punk ethos throughout history, interesting stuff! And that is your nugget of wisdom for today, kids!

Hehehe, it makes me laugh. Stupid Slipknot. Man, einhander619 that's deep, the state of mind part would be a good thesis statement.

    I'm an avid punk listener.

I don't look like anybody who listens to punk.

I don't care if I do or not, I still listen and like punk.

My musical taste is very diverse and just because I listen to rap, metal, and whatever else doesn't make me a poser.

Good music is good music and that should be enough for anybody.
