Does anyone know if you could fit a 4 oz bottle in the vertical asa in the A-5?
then get a 3" barrel and the response trigger and it will be one cool little gun

You'll get about a hopper out of the 4oz... but yeah, its doeable.
I handed off my 3.5 oz to a buddy with a m98 one time... he got off the hopper, and the tank was dry... it was full when I gave it to him.

My Feedback
Hi,
yes and has... I know a guy that has taken a stock A-5 and cut the barrel down. He took an F/A loader and modified it to fit the A-5's feed neck. Then he removed the bottomline and installed a 3.5 tank. The result was an extremely compact paintball gun.
Weltman used the A-5 at EMR's Fall Castle Conquest. He was able to do alot with the smaller gun. I think he got about a hopper and a half per tank.

Paintball cannot be that big. No one has really been able to sponsor a stock car or a race yet. (local people do not count in this case )
My Feedback
I have seen someone use his A5 with a 4oz gun, and has also cut off the top of a Redz pod (150) and slid it into his cyclone feed base. He only holds about 40 rounds, but he has virtually no hopper.
I think I can find a pic:
now THAT is cool!
AGREED! Haha wow.
just so you guys know.. "installing a vertical ASA" into the A-5 could be done by a 5-year old. tippmann calls is the Tombstone Adapter, and all you have to do is twist off the bottom line and you have a vertical ASA
