    Talking Skiing!!!

A while back there was a thread about skiing, and somebody mentioned they'd be at Breckenridge CO over MLK weekend (week and a half from now), I'll be out there with a big group staying in a slopeside party house..

if you wanna meet up PM me and I'll give you my cell number so we can rip up the slopes or just hang out and have a good time.

    WHOOHOO!!! SKIING!

I have to vote with Espo on this one, snowboarding (cockers) is way better than skiing (mags). Look around, all the cool kids are doing it.

Though I have to say, nothing is quite as smooth as a board on fresh powder.

im going to have to argue that. nothing is more of a rush than smackin the gates on a pair of skis on some fresh ice...(FAST)

    Hey Brak.

Colorado is pretty sweet if you get the right weather. Beacause it's continental it gets lighter fluffier snow than the coastal resorts. Breckenridge isn't my favourite CO resort it gets cold and windy, I tend to prefer Telluride and Crested Butte. I'd take anything in CO over the east coast, which is where I am right now

I used to do that all the time. If you think that's great you gotta try boardercross, well that would be skiiercross for you I think. All the competitive atmosphere and speed of gates with the added bonus of obstacles and going head to head = much bigger rush.

thats where im gonna live where i get out of this craphol--i mean east coast. lucky for me im going to canada this feb. so i should have some fun

ADDED- i just started racing and its really fun, the only thing i could think of as better than racing the clock liek what im doing now is racing other people. i would love to try skiercross, but there arent any teenage skiercross leagues, seeing how it could be violent/dangerous and it just started to come up

Dude, if you want the best go to Kickinghorse. It's got lots of steep and deep, and isn't near as commercialised. Mind you, it is on the other side of the country. If your heart is set on Tremblant have fun there. Do you know the place well?

Gotta love those French women, it's like they're talking dirty to you and they don't even know it!

Dude! I love Tremblant, went there a few times to compete last winter. If you're 18+, hit up the Caribou, EVERY NIGHT, best place in the village, you gotta check it out!

You might want to steer clear then. Although Quebecers are pretty layed back about drinking (even under age) the police in Quebec aren't to partial to english speaking kids.

    I Loved Kicking Horse!

I skiied there last year, 36k ft of vertical skiing... in just NINE RUNS! that gondola rules...

This will be my first trip to the American Rockies, I've skiied in BC and Alberta the last 4 years or so on my spring breaks...
