**Official AO Day: Skyball**

thats right, I am in the midst of organizing an AO day for the Sunday after Skyball. This will be held at Area 51 paintball in Toronto, Ontario. I have been Talking with an organizer who works there, and we came across the thought of booking it off for just AO'ers or allowing others to come along. to book we need a minimum of 15 people, and since this is a major tournament, there will be tonnes of people that want to play too. I am not sure of the capacity of the place yet, so i come to you, AO, and ask would this be necissary?

Speacial packages:
$10 Entrance fee- includes all day air
$.05 Paintballs

New Hyperball court, brightly lit.
Bring your automag, say im here for the AO meet.

JLove on AO, Paintcheck on AO chat and Creative_Mayhem have also been helping organize things.They came up with meeting at Skyball on Thursday and eating Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in the skydome.

My wifes and my work schedules do not allow for a Thursday meet. We won't be in until Friday morning, so a later meet would be better from our standpoint.

I'm there for Sunday at Area 51.

Thursday is really just to meet, and eat at the Hard Rock.
Sunday is the day i planned for Paintballin'

I'd prefer to meet up with people at the dome myself. I know Sunday will be dedicated to getting home.

Thursday night is as good as any I guess, seeing as there is a chance people will be involved with playing at any given time...

Here is the schedule for those who haven't seen it:

Thurday Feb. 27
9am-12 noon Registration Open
2:00pm Skydome Floor Captains' Meeting
2pm - 4pm Skydome Floor Fields Inspections
4pm - 12pm COMPETITION GAMES BEGIN (all divisions)

Trade Show
9am -2pm Trade Show move-in
4pm - 9pm Trade Show Open

Friday February 28
5:30 AM Skydome Gates Open
7 am - 12 midnite Competition Games - All Divisions
9 am - 9 pm Trade Show

Saturday March 1
5:30 AM Skydome Gates Open
7 am - 4 pm Competition Games
4 pm - 9 pm Playoffs
9 am - 6 pm Trade Show

HEy all I'm working on reserving a time at The Hard Rock Cafe in the dome probably around 1pm. That way we can get together and shoot the breeze and have a little show and shine with our markers. I am trying not to have the AO meet ater 4pm as there will probably be many AOers participating in the Pre-lims. I will confirm the time with everyone... once it's set.

Hey Dan. I was talking to Tom and some people at AGD, and i dont think they will be selling the Xmags there. If you want one, i can prolly get one brought to you for Skyball, give me a PM and we can discuss price.

Busy at the booth on Sunday? If I am not mistaken, the tradeshow isn't going to be open on Sunday. Maybe I am wrong...

I'm definitely in for thurs at the hard rock. I'd love to play at area 51 on Sunday, but only if i can bring my non-AOer crew along. My crew is between 7-12 people, depending on who wants to go. I hope this all comes together, i've never been to an AO event before.....

Well that would be fine. you can bring people along as well. I still have to get all the Information. I am up for the Hard Rock Cafe, but i am unsure of the playing at Area 51 now, finances are tight.

I am still up for the Hard rock.

Maybe we will make it an unoffical AO day, and we can meet at Hard Rock, and go from there.

Ite, i'm the guy trying to get something organized for the AO crew....

I would need a definitive day that you guys would like to have.

Currently it would be 5 cent paint
i'm trying for no entry, air would more than likely be 5 bucks unlimited fills on CO2 and compressed air (god willing we will have our new compressor - 4500 psi fills)

I'm just doing the whole polkaroo thing with my boss, not catching him to sit down and figure everything out, but i really can't do anything in stone until you guys know which day is appropriate.

If you guys want pizza and other things on hand when you're there, that too would be greatly appreciated.

ALSO!!! (see how urgent that is)
We just totally renovated our hypercourt, it's so bright it's like playing under the dome itself (i think it's brighter)..... hope to hear from you guys soon

. If worse comes to worse, I'll be taking the train to Union Station in Toronto from the station in Belleville. With any luck ill be spending a couple nights there for skyball.

Here is the final worked out plans for the Skyball AO meet at Area 51.

$10 entrance fee-includes unlimited air.

$.05 Paintball's or $100 a case. so about $60 a case US

Show up, show the Automag, say its for the AO meet, all good.

The new Hyperball court is so brightly lit, it will put Skyball to shame.
