Thought I would drop some info for the Florida peeps. Showdown is really beginning to catch some attention from several teams in the Central Florida area as the place to practice. Mike, the owner, is really stepping it up to make his place the best it can be. He is working on a couple of new tournament style fields for practice sessions with towers to observe and film the action. There is a ton more planned for the near future so come on out and support a field that supports its players. If you need info go to www.Showdownpaintball.com and tell them the Emag guys sent ya.

I really wish I'd pre-regged for the finale. I've been wanting to be a role-player or a demo guy for some time. On the other hand, in every single scenario game I've played so far I've still managed to either nearly become command staff, or win an award... It's so much more fun to help do game-vital things like recon, or prop retrieval, or negotiations, than wandering around lost in the woods... Anyone else here going to Hi-Tec on Saturday btw?

Lee- No prob. My brother is waiting until the last minute to do anything about the finale. He doesn't want to drop the cash and then get screwed by the weather. So far we intend to go its just a matter of registering when we get there and all the other BS. I know it screws us as far as trying to stay on the same side but we'll see what happens. I just look forward to going.
