I'd be cool and post my favorite college but Ringling Brothers Circus closed down Clown College in '97. It was a sad time for the clowns.

    Please a moment of silence...

If my knees are better and I can find a way to pack it, I'll even bring my unicycle to the IAO. Guaranteed cover shot for AGD.

    Actually

I'm not an OU fan, and I don't go to school there. I just thought it was a good representation of Oklahoma. After all, OU has good athletics. But actually, I graduated just recently from:

So yeah, that's what I represent.

    1 more thing

    Postitnote:

Yeah, I know Stroud. I used to shop there with my family alot back in the days. Reeboks, Guess?, and Levi's...I also bought a lot of football cards there, I recall.

A family that is friends with ours was in an accident on the highway leaving the Tanger Outlet Mall...the mother and son were killed, father was left paralyzed.

A good friend of mine graduated from Stroud in 2001.

This girl I know from AO has a Mom who is from Stroud. That is all the connections I can think of right now.

    BradAGD:

Dude, if you bring a unicycle to IAO I'll be at the AGD booth all week trying to ride that thing!!! Then I'll get in trouble for not doing any work, lol.

    OUCH guys

I said team up and beat me up AT the meet. You guys are getting started to early.

Did you guys hear about the weather here in OK this weekend? Tornadoes were touching down everywhere. They discovered today why it has been so windy in Oklahoma:

Because Texas sucks and Kansas Blows.

Thank you, thank you very much.

why doesnt texas slide off into the gulf? because oklohama sucks.

when you cross the red you realize why its the Great State of Texas and oklahoma is ok.

I think it may have something to do with water pressure from the Gulf, it holds the lightweight state of texas in place. Also, if you didn't notice on the map (that big picture with all the lines), Mexico is kinda pinching Texas right in there. How do you like that? Texas is quite dependant on Mexico. "Remember the Ala Mode!"

Haha, this is fun. I'm thinking we need a TX vs OK AO day. The AORedRiverDay.

actually....Texas may slide into the gulf some day. Right now Texas is kind of split in two due to increasing pressure from sediments in the gulf. The subsidence(sediments weighing down) in the gulf creates tremendous pressure on this part of the continental crust, thus we have the balcones fault system running through Texas due to these pressures.

In reply to oklahoma sucking the state of Texas onto north america...this is actually half correct. Texas has had a unique metamorphic history with certain land masses, terrains, and islands that have smashed into Texas in the last billion years or so. Now the forces to have these land masses come together probably have nothing to do with sucking or attraction, but nevertheless they collided in a such a way to create Texas.

I hope i got all that right, especially since i spent about 60 hours in the field this semester analyzing rocks to support the interpretation that i wrote above.

oh yeah....ummmmm paintball is cool and AO is the bestest

Nickshot1...I'm assuming you've forgotten your physics and/or geology. For one, water pressure is the pressure that works in conjunction with gravity, so it pushes down. I think you meant to say buoyancy. But Texas does not need buoyancy, nor does any other continent. The ground pretty much goes all they way down and meets up with the mantle. So water has no effect on whether the land mass stays afloat.

And Mexico does not really pinch Texas since its all part of the same continental mass. For now North and South America are quite happy being together, but maybe in a few million years we'll see them split up again. who knows?

oh...to make this thread pball related I will say.....i like automags. they are cool

werd up nick dawg....yeah, i'll be at AO day. I don't know as of yet if I'll have the cash moneys to play(being a poor college student), but I'll at least be taking pictures and mingling with the crowd. I can honestly say AO dudes and dudets are some of the best peeps to be around. It should be fun!

And if ya'll like, i'll give anyone a crash course in geology if you want.

Remember ya'll, Oklahoma, Texas, and paintball are great. Afterall, two out of three of them are made of rocks! Long live the Arbuckle mountains!!!

    Hey Issac,
Thanks for throwing a little water on the fire....
I was wondering if I was hosting a "all for fun, fun for all AO play-day" or an "Aggie vs. Longhorn vs. Okie three-part massascre"!!
I guess I could build a triangle shapped airball field: (insert best announcer voice here) and in this corner.......

OK, OK, back to the fun!

    Well

How about the PSP Vegas. In the 5-man, Oklahoma's own Reflex took 2nd place, while TX team, Havok, got 3rd in the same division. I for one, would be in the Oklahoma corner. Of course, it would only be about 2 minutes after the start I'd be in the Texas corner.

Now, why would someone from Austin ever want to go on the side of Oklahoma?? That's like having the opening premiere of Matrix 2 in College Station.

    Cool

Thanks Isaac. Looks like there will be 3 on the Oklahoma side.

    As the saying goes...

"I wouldn't cross the street to pee on you if you were on fire."

    It seemed pertinent, and funny.

You have to admit, that was kinda funny. Don't worry logamus, my Dad's an Aggie, so it is no different at home. I was raised an Aggie, but then I came to my senses.
