    Greetings,
OK folks, this thing is about a month and a half away.
What kind of airball field setup do you want?
Standard tourney size and layout or just a huge fun field with lots of bunkers and blind moves?
For a large setup say 250 or 300 x 100 feet with about 40 BIG bunkers and lots of angles, blind shots/moves and a busy 50 to accomodate 20+ players per side?
    Cheers,

I say if at least 30 people come, make it the large one, if not, have a smaller tournament layout. We're gonna be out there just to have a great time, so it doesn't really matter

    How about this?

It sounds like we will just need a field with about 4 or 5 bunkers on one side(for the Okies) and about 40 bunkers on the other side...(for the losing team). Clare, which side do you want?

I think it's safe to say that we'll have well over 30 ppl attending making a big Sup-air field the way to go .

    question....

ok...check this...I'm new to AO and am interested in a mag, wanted to come here and learn about mags and such b4 I put some hard earned money on one. I just read about this thread for the Austin Texas AO meet and its sounds interesting..but the only problem is I don't have a mag. I own an autococker, can I still come and not be shunned by mag owners? or is this a automag only event?

Don't worry about it man, I've never been to an AO meet that didn't have a variety of markers.

if i make it I most likely will not have a mag in tow. I have played at the meets with mags, cockers, and even a tippman 98 (when I was to lazy to fix my other gun before a game) and no one laughed and pointed.

yeah, come anyways dude. I used to have a micro (how i joined AO, great group). Then a mini cocker... then a dye cocker, now an eclipse impulse, i'll probably have a timmy at the event.

welcome to AO kenndogg! there is always a halfway decent chance of getting some good natured ribbing bringing a cocker to an automag event since the cocker is the arch nemesis of the automag. its a happy fun time for all paintballers and AO members in particular so the owning of an automag is not a requirement. just an enjoyment of the sport and a distrust of all things oklahoma, thats all you need.

    Hey!

    Oklahoma is OK!

Hey Logamus, I just saw that you're from Ft. Worth. That's cool! I thought I would have to drive to Austin to bunker you, but Ft. Worth is only half the distance! It will save me lots of time.

You keep forgetting, OK gave you Texans Troy Aikman. Isn't he like a Deity in your parts or something???

Hey, Kenndogg! My friend coming with me is shooting a Bushy, but he's getting an "E" real soon.

    Yeah, but

Postitnote may not admit it, but her mom, and mabye her, are from Oklahoma.

Also, Capo told me she was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma. True story.

So don't say we didn't give TX anything. Also there's Will Rogers, he was cool, and we gave him to the World. I've been to his house

Well as far as postitnote, Capo and TK being born and or living in OK it was there parents choices not theirs. Now that these people are more worldly they made the right decision. As far as Will Rogers... he was alright and nothing bad could be said about him. He my friend was OK's diamond in the ruff.

    Thank You

Well, thank you. That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about Oklahoma, I'm sure. This is a good start. I gotta admit myself, I know alot of great people from TX

In other news, has anyone ever seen the episode of SpongeBobSquarePants where Sandy Cheeks gets homesick? I have it on DVD, it's grrrreat.

O.k. I'll make sure my gnomes will be working hard to impress all you mags owners.

As for OK., I went to Fort Sill during my basic training must say that I'm not impress by the state during my stay. Give me Texas 100* heat and 85% humidity any day of the week.

You should come! Utah's not too far away, right? like what, 6, 7 hours? I've taken day-trips longer than that.

Daroach- You are more than welcome to come and play this weekend with us, if your woman doesn't have you on lock down. Anyways you have a better chance of painting your fingernails than hitting me with your marker. What are you shooting these day?? Let me see an Rt Pro? no that didn't make you any better. MAybe an adrenaline angel? No you still couldn't hit anything Maybe a race free flow? no that didn't make you any better either. My dear young friend when will you learn its the person not the gun?

Alright, let's get this straight NOW!
I am not from Oklahoma. I am from Missouri. But it is true my mom is from Stroud, Oklahoma. My dad is from Massachusetts, so what does that mean...?

P.S. I've lived in the great state of Texas since January 1991!

Also: Daroach is not on 'lock down' - I graduated college today so he's being supportive... If he wants to go play paintball, fine by me, but I ain't drivin'!
