What will the post office say?

I sold a freak barrel tip and im shipping it tomorrow, but now I started to get a little afraid of what they will say

PO: What is it? *looks at it cause it looks like a pipe bomb*
ME: A metal tube... there is nothing in it! I swear!

I dont exactly want to say its a barrel either in THIS (fairfax) county

You know, the post office sells tubes. Put the barrel in one of the tubes with some old newspaper in it and you're all set.

If that's the case, I'd have alot of fun in Fairfax... I may have to visit someday.

Do you have a guilty conscience or something? There is nothing illegal about shipping a barrel for a Paintball Marker. Make sure you box it or tube it. Its all good bro...Relax!

tell them it's a "part" not a barrel. and if they ask you to describe it be vague. call it a freak tip. tell them it's a metal tube that goes on the end of the marker. avoid the word gun.

ummm, just let them check it if it comes down to bomsquad, they wont find anything, right?

maybe I just like to cause problems but I would say its a gun barrel. Thats still legal right..

you dont have to lie to the post office. what are they going to do to you for sending a barrel? It gives you the oppurtunity to make a scene if they question it.

well they asked me when i RMAed my mag body. (it was the wrong feed direction) you're not going to have a problem if it's out where they can see it. but if you walk in with it already packaged they'll probably ask you what it is.

Oh cmon, dont be a rookie cookie! Just tell them what it REALLY is! A pipe bomb!

They want ask, they dont have the authority to ask. They can only ask if you ship it media mail. Thus it has to be media.

    1000 posts!!!

Put it in a tube prior to going in. Then flat out lie. "Documents...That what's inside, Important Documents"

Tell them that even if they don't ask. Make sure they understand that you're only sending documents. You'll be fine.
