Does anyone know if I can replace the gas thru grip on the classic rt and if you can can you put a regulator?
Also do they make a ule body or any no rise body for the classic rt?
Thanks for the help.

No, you don't want another regulator on the gun. The valve has one already and the tank is #2. Any more and you start getting flow problems and shootdown.
No, you cannot put a no-rise or ULE body for the classic RT.
exactly. you *could* put a regulator on, but theres a very good chance you'd start having shoot down issues. you should be able to put a standard gas through grip on it though.i don't have my RT sitting here to check, but theres most likely a small hole in the rail that you can punch through. you just mount your vertical asa in that hole, and screw yor grip in.
thanks for the help. I was thinking the exact same thing about putting a standard gas thru grip, but just wasnt sure if there was a hole in the rail. Ill check that out. As for the body, I might have found someone who can modify the powerfeed on the body to make it into a no-rise or low-rise body.
A pic of my ClassicRT with asa/gas-thru setup...remove the stock foregrip and tap the hole.
I cut off my powerfeeed on my Classic RT and made a warp feed out of it. Very sexy!
very nice is there a hole to tap already or do I need to drill the whole into rail by eye?Originally posted by Outbreak
