I bought an x valve with level x, the owner did tell me that the valve needed to be tuned. As I began to trouble shoot the valve I noticed that the bolt wouldn't rest againts the valve. I tried another bolt on the valve and it rested on the valve. Has anyone seen this before? If the bolt trashed?

Does the powertube have level 10 guts in it?
Are the guts installed correctly?
If the answers to the above are both yes, your carrier is most likely too tight as punkncat said.Comment

I'll check, but one of my other bolts fit, if the carrier is to tight it wouldn't fit eitherOriginally posted by secretweaponevanDoes the powertube have level 10 guts in it?

It's different from what your asking but , not long ago I ran into this ;
Upon further figuring I found that the hole in the stem of the #1 bolt was .180" shorter than the hole in #2 bolt , so the hole in #1 bolt was not deep enough to reach the vent hole in the side of the stem , so no vent , no reset
so try to see what kind of measurements you can get , it would be hard to measure the bottom of the stem , but as I found out sometimes the Machines make mistakes
for sure let us know what you findComment

Push the bolt back by hand. If it goes back by hand, then the extra stiffness not allowing it to rest at the rear position by itself is usually caused by a carrier that is too tight. since the original owner said it was not tuned, I suggest you tune the level 10 bolt system yourself, first. When you have the guts out, check them against the bolt stem to see if they are excessively tight.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment
