Oh, no fade, I see. In the first pic, the chrome just looks dark and gets lighter toward the valve, I thot it was a black to chrome deal. nm, still sweet looking tho.

Thanks, but as far as an x-chamber goes, guess I am not into the "hype" of an x-chamber. A gas through grip works great for me. I do remember the days of having a whispering death (IIRC) on my mag with a 18" (again, IIRC) triple loop, steal braid, coil running from the asa to the valve. I just use an HPA system now a days.

it doesn't really help i just think it feels a lot better than a regular gas thru, its all preference though. if you like what you have great! hope you enjoy the new mag!

ahh, I see, I think, so it's cause it's like bigger around or something? makign it more comfortable to grip, sounds like. absolutely understand that. for me, though, I really don't use it as a grip, but rather, a sort of rest. I use my left hand and kind of grab up towards the body more at the ASA, kinda looks like I am "pinching" it, if that makes sense. :)

I'll see if I can get RPK (RP's kid, my daughter) to take some pictures of me using it next time we are out. (she got a digital camera for Christmas, and being the "weak" father that I am, I already gave it to her. )
