wow, you upped a 3 year and 9 month old thread to say that.

Now that that's out of the way:

I will admit my minimag is a bit heavy as compared to my electros, but i've never noticed it in a game.

now, for me, weight isint a matter. but you have to admit:

non uled emag with stainless body
        dye boomstick
        warpfeed
        halo
        72/30 steel tank

that, is heavy. (would weigh it but i dont have the gun annymore)

I weighted my mag awile back with my electronic dragun frame on it. It had a RPG exile body, sub zero feed neck, shadow rail, xvalve, 12" sp tear drop barrel, dead on paintball bullet drop, my electronic frame (alum.), vertical adapter, bicyle foregrip, with all the macroline and fittings. Everything but the tank and hopper and it weigted in at 2lbs and 14 or 15 ounces.

At the same time, im pretty sure I had my warped mag also, which was a beast considering I used a 72/3k steal tank. It was quite a diffrence when id switch between those guns.

edit: what is the "similar threads" option at the bottom of this thread, dont seem to be any any other thread.

I never really thought a mech mag was even close to thinking it was heavy. An emag, on the other hand, is a bit heavy. (I have noodle arms, ill admit it.)

What makes mags heavy, is the few people left who strap one of those WarpFeed behemoths on thier gun! I speak from experience because I was one of those guys! :)

You just HAD to make me go and get my markers out huh?

OKay, just for the record, the top marker weighs in at a svelte 4lbs 8oz, and the bottom one is 4lbs 15oz.

let me 1st state that i completly agree with everything said here. Now with that i said i would like to say the only thing i can see people saying about this if you put it on pbnation or somthing similar, is that you weighed it to a PMI gun. they would then go on to say that an ego or a g7 or a shocker is even lighter then the PMI.

                          great post tho

Well, sure my E-Mag's relatively heavy with a fully loaded Reloader B on it. The speedball guys all ask how I can shoot something that heavy. Maybe it's that they're all so used to shooting the lightest of the light, DM6's and such. But I don't find that it effects my game any, so I don't suppose it matters a great deal, does it? After all, they're not shooting it, I am.

Granted, the only part on it that's ULE in any way is the body... the barrel is a PPS Brass and the rail is an RT Pro. I do intend to get that ULE milled in the future, though...
