Go to Radio Shack and get a length of shrink tubing. Make sure it is JUST large enough to slip over the end fittings. When you shrink it down, it will conform to everything under it, and be a rubbery armor against the reg.

what's wrong with some electrical tape. just wrap it all the way down the hose, i think it'd look pretty cool... but that's just me..

Phonecord style hose wrap I got from a hose/hydraulic shop. Besides a hose shop and Radioshack... car shops sometimes have stuff you can use.

yeah, how can plastic scratch stainless steel?

i play in the woods and i like to use no-mar camo tape for that type of stuff.

im looking at my macro line right now, it would really have ot be rubbing against something to scratch it but i think i've heard that before. Anyway, i would wrap it in electrical tape, that would also look pretty cool on a black marker.

i went to Home Depot and got a can of rubber dip for tools and that stuff rocks. It is in the "Tool Corral" where the hand tools are, and you can get it in Black, Blue, Red, and Yellow. just tape up the fittings really well, and dip it in the can. Viola! a rubberized and very nice looking coated SS line which wont scratch your reg or emag battery any more

                        PS-Macroline DOES scratch.
