Cost is always a factor keep up the good work Paint. But the blinking light will do just fine. Also, isn't the screen and extra chip gonna make the board heavier? I mean if the 2010 ego surpassed the 09 because it was 13 grams lighter it has to be a factor, No?

There really isn't much more difference in the weight:-)
But no... there is no second chip.!
Everything.runs off one chip.

Yes,.. the new boards will be able to hit a CPS rate of 50.

Much more than the AGD solenoid has been confirmed to reach.

Update

We had a change in the board design.

When we were having so much trouble with the ramping software, we didn't think a hardware issue was to blame.

Now, we have made a massive change to the current design which will aid us in re-programming in the future for updates.

Production boards have been re-issued and the bare boards should be completed in a few weeks.

There were some changes, mostly layout design.

As you can see, this is it,... the last step before production!

We have to change up the silk screen and label items,... but thats a 15 minute job.

UPDATE

Still waiting on the final code to be flashed to the new proto-type.

The ramping was not a simple task in the end to write or correct.

The board house has sent me proofs for the finished product and has begun printing out the bread board section of the order for 1000 units.

I still have to decide on the color of the boards.

Keep an eye out for the order thread in the next 2 months!!
