Board software default is to work without eyes.
if you have eyes (break beam or reflective/ACE) the software automatically turns the eyes on if connected.
You can always disable them from the back button on the frame.

The auxiliary port was specifically designed with controlling the warp feed in mind.
I also have a wireless option coming very soon (in design phase now).

    Update

I just sent the board back out for the new software flash.
Should have something together in working video form (hopefully) in two weeks.

    NOTICE
For those of you that have X-mags or E-mags with milling to support the ACE board, the new ACE boards WILL be completed next.

You can not use an AGD ACE board with the new main boards I am releasing.

The idea is to allow you to have all the critical components as well as power control on a single unit rather than splitting it into two boards.

In simple terms, you will be removing everything from the frame except the solenoid plunget and sear and saving them
You will be installing brand new parts (HES, solenoid coil, main board, wire harness) and a 30 day warranty

    Update

Board went back to the software engineer to be re-tested.

They have received it and are testing the CPS of the solenoid with no load on it.

    Target speed is 100cps

Hoping to have a video around the week of 10/10 or the week after.

So from my understanding I wouldn't need a new noid, HES, etc. As in I could just drop this board into my basic emag as it is now? Also how much would you ball park for a basic board w/a basic screen w/o ACE or noid?

You would take everything out of your frame so it was empty.

    You re-install :

    The lower board mount screw
    The solenoid mount
    The solenoid plunger with sear

    You get:

    A solenoid coil
    Board
    H.E.S.
    Wire harness
All the parts to make the new board drop in and ready to go

    This year.

We already printed the PCBs, we just need to select a color and solder on the components.

The first run will be 100 boards assembled. That means: complete drop in replacements ready to go with all parts in 100 assembled units.

I'm trying not to rush this board out to sales. With the need so high for them, I want zero issues with the hardware /software.

I know that's not a definate date to answer the question at hand. But that's all I have to offer before I see the prototype back next week to run paint through it.

    Hello,

I'm a total newbee in emag (and automags too !!!) and know nothing about technics

So my problem (and question) is :

Will this board very simple to install ? something like replacing the stock board by a virtue one on an invert mini (take off 3 screws, take off old board, put new board, re-place the 3 screws and ... go to the field !!!)

or will it be needed to make changes on the marker ?

I have a "stock" emag with v1.37 software.

    Thanks

Its more like 1 screw, the trigger switch (HES), the solenoid mount, solenoid coil, etc

There is some work involved. About 30 minutes.

If you are looking for modes of fire over the stock board, but your stock board functions, maybe this isn't the product for you.

If all you need is control of the modes and some dwell adjustment, the software flash called "XMOD" is what you need.

I may be losing a customer, but really this new board of mine is for when the stock one no longer functions at all.

If that ever happens, then my new boards are the replacement you will be looking for.

    Update

We re-loaded the software to the new board this weekend.

A change in hardware was needed for part D5 & D6. Seems we got a bad batch and they weren't blocking all the voltage to zero.
Which mention the toureny switch was floating and could not ground properly.
The other issue was the eyes, again.
We have been changing the code back and forth to get dual funtion for break beam and reflective.
Seems the hardware limited the range for paint detection on the reflective side because on a analogue signal being not counted correctly in the code against what the circuit was giving out.

    So we fixed all that.

I have to change out the diodes and reflash the board again for a complete video test.

The end is so damned close....

    Update

We fixed all the little hardware changes needed to get the software working at its best.

Prototype is inbound to me for a video making session.

Target date for completed board packages is new years day.

Pre order will be open before then

Those of you that NEED a board setup for your gun, do not delay on jumping into the pre order.

    UPDATE

I have the new board in hand.

I put it back into the X-Mag test frame and swapped out the battery for a fresh one.

( I just had 4 shots of JD for the Marine Corps Birthday,.. please excuse my spelling)

I powered up the board with a stock AGD battery and a KC 1000mHa battery,.. both work 100% with the new board.

I also tested the circuit on a 9volt battery, the circuit will 100% honor the lower voltage (for all you DIY guys out there)

I DO NOT RECCOMEND YOU USE 9VOLTS ON YOUR E/X-MAG!!!!

Below is a video containing the test of the software to the board and the battery.

Once I have completed the move into my new home on the 19th and 20th of Novermber, I will shoot a video with the new board installed in an AGD marker shooting paint.

    For now,... enjoy!

    Looks sweet,

    "NOTICE

Keeping an eye out for when you release the new ace boards also. Hopefully it will be done with main boards to get a sweet combo. Would be nice if the new ace boards have a on/off switch installed option.

Ace boards will be sold separate from the first batch of main boards.

The break beam eye port will honor a bounce beam eye and the software works with both types.

The ace will not have a switch. The new use of the buttons on the frame is all you will need to control them.

Im glad to see that all of your hard work and efforts are paying off.

On another note, have you thought of a name for it yet? Can I nominate "F.U.B.S." or "F.U.T.S."
