    Center feed minimag body-need help

So I have a minimag cf body but I noticed there's not a small pin in the body to accept a mag twist and lock barrel is this correct? Or is this a lost cause

The pin sits in your rail, not the body

You can buy a new twist lock pin from Tuna, AGD, or the BSTs.

The previous owner probably took it out because they wanted to use a non-cf barrel in it, friction fitting it somehow. Center feed barrels are harder to find.

You can also use a Doc's Adapter with your new twistlock pin, if you don't have a cf barrel you like.

Just for clarification, are you using an original stainless center-feed MiniMag body w/ the smoke-stack feed or one of the newer aluminum bodies that XMT created? The newer bodies are AC threaded.

Sorry if this was obvious, just couldn't tell from the original post

Wow thanks for all the help guys it's been a while since I put a mag together and it's the original body for a cf minimag with the high rise center, I plan on sending it out to shorten it down an possibly change the cloro to black or white.

Is this not a good idea? What would be wrong

They are rare and are worth a decent amount when they are not cut.

the feed neck is a high rise but has a after market clamping feed neck not the original basket like the body in tha thread emcl29 posted up? so it has been molested just a lil...not fully cut yet..haha? here are a couple of pics:
