AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
How Many Players have a Small Air Compressor = 100PSI??
I have a old (Dayton) Speedaire model 2Z050 compressor (I believe it 's about 37 years old) that has a output of 125psi... It's still chugging along after all those years...
I do not have a compressor, though it might be useful to own one, but really hard to use because I live in an apartment building (far too noisy). So while the reduction in cost would be nice the noise of a compressor is not worth it, I'd just have to buy one of the three stage ones.
I like this idea, and I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to own one if I had the money, but,
With many fields offering ALL DAY air, I would see a reason not to buy this. My home field, with a season pass, gives me air for free. A lot of people I play with have several tanks that they air up and the end of the day.
This item might be great for the winters if you don't live near an indoor field or if your local field closes, OR if you run outlaw ball mostly.
Now if it could fill in a lot less time, THAT would be better.
Just trying to help, love ya Tom!

AGD Did someone call me?
You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.
You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.
Just so AGD knows about all us who don't have one. I don't
But I just bought my first home, and finally have a garage :) so I may be getting on soon. Especially if I"ll need it for this device.
i don't have one, and at least for my area not a good idea to run to high pressures as there is a bit of condensation in the air and it builds up inside even with a decent water filter. couldn't imagine what would happen with it pressurized to 4500. i know my friends 200 psi is rusty inside becuase of this.
Definitely interested either way, and I work in a store were I can easily fill my tanks. To be able to fill them at home though would be awesome, for one I wouldn't have to worry about taking my tanks to work with me, and two if I get a random hair to start tinkering because I can't sleep I don't have to worry about whether or not I have air. Also being able to fill 5 tanks for me and the kids before Sunday morning would be nice, since I normally have enough to do to set everything up for everyone to play.
This rocks Tom, and I am really happy to see your progress coming along so fast. I can't wait to see a working prototype !!
Probably best to offer 2 version. A basic which you would need your own air source and the deluxe. I would def throw down $400-600 for a deluxe one. If it's a little more, then I probably still consider it.
i dont have a compressor but i might check out craigslist for one
im in a small little appartment with my wife, so the quiet factor you mentioned would be perfect for my needs
