New (to me) ULE Custom! How'd I do on this deal?

    Hey Guys,

I just bought myself a nice little setup from eBay and I was wondering how you guys think I did as far as price goes. Here goes:

    I paid $450 shipped for:

Black ULE Custom in great shape. One small scratch on X-Valve body.
    -Xvalve, Lvl 10, ULT
    -Intelliframe with newer Dye stickies
    -Bike Grip
-CP flame drop with on/off ASA
-Smart Parts 14" barrel- unreal/new shape, not sure what type
-SP 14" Freak Junior Barrel kit with 3 inserts and case

    Also came with:
    VL Revvy
Pure energy 68/45 fiber wrapped tank. Born in 2006 and needs hydro, but looks basically brand new. Came with Dye Rhino Cover. I'll send her into crossfire for a rehydro and possibly a reg-swap.

Soooo how'd I do? I'm pretty psyched on the gun. Can't believe how much lighter it is than my RT Pro!

Pretty good deal. Can you take pictures of the rail by itself, that does not look standard.

It's not the standard rail but that's one of the reasons I liked the gun so much. It puts the foregrip further out, which I like. I'll take some pics and post them later.

It appears to be an RT rail, It looks like one of Rogue's later rails

With the tank, Revvy and freak kit included, that's a pretty good deal. Even better if that turns out to be a Recon rail.

That's also a new-style CP on/off ASA, which is my favorite type of ASA.

Like Justus said it's a decent deal. Fair price all the way around. It's not a "ZOMGIGOTASPANKINGDEAL" price, but still good. Cheaper than it would be to buy new or build.

Oh, and your hopper is on backwards.

Thanks, yeah I was just hoping I wasn't getting hosed due to the tank being out of hydro, or me not recognizing the rail/feedneck/barrel based on stock pics of the ULE custom, but it sounds like the different rail may be a plus! The ASA is really nice, I'm definitely a fan.

Ha, thanks. The pics are from eBay, I haven't taken my own yet. Rest assured that when I'm out on the field, I'll try to make sure my hopper is facing forward . No promises, though.

Yes, but it isn't great. I think I'm going to switch to a CP clamping feedneck. Good eye!

That's a good deal. The rail looks like a RPG Recon rail. Send the tank to ninja for hydro and get the SHP reg. Great reg for the RT effect. Get rid of the flame drop. Tank looks like a 88ci?

You're right, I think it is an 88 CI tank now that I look at it. I actually like the drop for whatever reason. Feels good with my 68/45

Looks good man. Take care of her and she will treat you well for your paintball career if you so choose. Personally I don't like the flame drop. But I use an offset drop on my gun and love it.

If you like the flame drop keep it. Its your gun. Have it how you like.
