    Cool Automag goes on a diet!

    i got the grip a bit lighter also and with a nicer look

    4.2oz = 119 gram

    mine is 128 gram with trigger and saftypin

    I think the lightest I have goten a mag in functional condition was just under 1.5 lbs. but this was a project to see just how light I could get a mag with only hand tools and a dremmal.

    sweet, but stil i think i can beat that even tho im using double trigger and stuff but stil i want it to look good aswell (1.5lb = 680.38 gram)

    CCM macro fittings will save a good amount of weigt if memory serves and loose the thumb field strip screw. You will be shocked after you add the macro fittings and macro, sear, on/off asa, barrel.

    already ordered CCM macros, have any good ideas about the field strip screw? if there is any nice looking.

    however a bad thing is that i think i will keep the ecplise pop asa, i like that bastard, but its realy heavy.

    You know they invented something for heavy mag parts.....it's called a gym. Nice clean mag.

    oh i normaly drive motocross so dont worry about that part , tho i dont think i will ever use this gun tho i just see it as a challange to build the gun.
