Exclamation Electro-Pneumatic Kit VIDEO!!!!

Okay Guys,.. you wanted to see it,.. you got it!

I spent the day with family ripping down some parts of the house which left tonight as the night we would build an EP Kit for your viewing pleasure.

Jay8541 sent me a Storm Walk to test the kit out in, and we are going to test it in EVERY combination possible.

**It pretty late and I have to be up early,.. so there are going to be a few videos uploaded later on. But these few should get your started. Check back after the 25th of April as I should have some new footage.**

First up was an intro video where we used the following setup:

Classic R/T twist lock body cut to take a standard valve from AGD
R/T on-off
No ULT
DYE 10" SS barrel
Some type of rail Jay sent me (looks like an E-Mag rail thats been ULE'ed)
E-Mag Sear w/o trigger pin
25g Micro Switch Trigger
Proto-type ram
Proto-type noid
Proto-type board
9volt battery
Externally mounted KAPP LPR
Preset 800psi HPA bottle
Storm Walk Frame
,..... and some electrical tape to hold it in! (Pannels are almost done!)

First string of shots was as fast as that valve will go. Its older,.. but it seemed to fire okay.

The second string of shots was 15-20bps ramp. This is slower than what we set the Shocker at in the second video.

First EP Kit Video

----------------------------------------

Second video is of a speed comparison of a 2006 Smart Parts Shocker set on fast ramp 20bps with the stock board against the EP Kit with uncapped ROF.

EP Kit v.s. 2006 Shocker SFT

----------------------------------------

Third video is the speed against a custom R/T I built for my brother. Input was at 950psi.
When I jack the pressure above that, it gets out of control! This R/T has been clocked up to 30bps! We re-set the level 10 2 days ago and lowered the input pressure so the super bolt would work properly. Its about 20ish now.

The skips you hear in the shot strings are what happens with the level 10 installed after the input pressure for the valve drops below 600psi at high ROF. Just after that video string,.. the gun ran out of air.

Custom R/T v.s. EP Kit

------------------------------------------

I have some blooper videos of the that night when we were testing the camera and I was building the gun and installing the kit. I started about 6 EST and got the video working about 12 EST,... thats 6 hours to build a custom kit in a cutsom frame on a custom body and working on the first try. (pat myself on the back)

I havent heard much from Clippard as of when part proto-types are due, but I am working on other replacements for them just in case.

As you can see in the video,.... the pieces Im using work alright.

At Tunaball, Scott (BigEvil) and Jay (Jay8541) will be running the kits to test the boards in game format. If you like what you see, talk to Jay about these frames!!!! I start in on my completely internal kit and I will post video as soon as they are done.

Not on the 29th,.. sorry.

I have to skip this spring fling game to make sure the Tunaball Kits are all finished.

As you can see the pannels were not done (Jay wants EVERYTHING to be flawless! ) so I used some tape.

Once we get back from Tunaball,... I will have the time to finish the first run of kits and start building.

Fo those of you with E-Mags,... dont think we have forgot about you!

BigEvil came up with an idea for converting an E-Mag over to this kit and using the existing frame. I will be speaking with him at Tunaball about it, so when the kits are done,.... thats next on the list!

~ P8nt

PS: Video WITH PAINT may be shot tonight,... check back soon!

YES! thats what i like to hear! Just curious, will it be a drop in kit or will we have to have some permanent mods done to the frame that will make it impossible to revert back to an e-mag?

Probably means we'll need a new sear too haha

For jay's frames will one have to drill and tap mounting holes for anything? Or is this really 100% drop in.

Frickin SWEET!

I'd love to have a setup where the LP was mounting in the forgrip space and the hose run through the rail. That looks super hot! Amagine how much MORE confused the kids at the field if you show up with an EP kit in one of those frames

"What kind of....Angel, uh.........shocker, um......what?"

Lots of ways we are going to try.

I have to work with BE on this one because he had some EP ideas,.. and I had some straight Electro ideas that can be worked out to eliminate the big noid. (Yes,.. u read correctly. No more 18volt battery and big noid)

Keep in mind that this is all on paper. Lots of guys have tried this and have found no real simple way to do it.

On top of ALL that,... Tom Kaye designed the E-Mag the way he did for alot of reasons. I have to figure him out as I go in order to not kill an already working design.

For 99% of us out there,.. the E-Mag with Xmod on it is the end of all ends! For the guys that want to try a little bit different route,... Big Evil has some ideas. So I will be working with him to see what we can do for you.

I try to start with no machining. Thats the target goal. From there the parts get a bit larger but leave open doors to go to.

I have just done some SIMPLE measuring,.. and I came up with 2 aprt changes for both electronic as well as EP conversion for the existing frame. This means that with a little part moving,... we may beable to build new internals without milling the frames.
Again,.... this is all simple mock-up that anyone will look at to see if it can be done.
I think it can,.. so Im working on the sales of these kits to fund a future product like the new internals for an E-Mag.

I want to come back from Tunaball, and sit down and see what we can do for making these things avalible as soon as possible. I really DONT want to rush into it too much as I have alot of work to be done (testing) on other parts,... but if I feel good about the kits and the parts,.... I will do a run of at least 100 to start things off right.

More to come after Tunaball! If you can make it,... BE THERE!!!!!
