warp hose question

I got a used warp feed, and plenty of problems that came with it. I just got it back from Tuna, all shiney and working, so I plug in the hose, and it is really, really loose. I have the hose orings and adapters on it. I try a paintball in it, and it doesn't roll out...or even move. How loose are paintballs in a warp's hose? Should they free float, rool right through? Also, were are some places to buy one real cheap?

The balls will feed through the superhose even when it is tied in a knot.

The paint should roll freely through the tube without having to be pushed.
