Can I throw an E-mag valve in a classic?

I have an non-working E-mag, (won't work in mech mode, selector switch is missing the ball bearing to hold it in place in case your wondering, and needs new battery for E-mode) my friend has a stock classic Mag I'm borrowing for the day to take my brother for his first time out.
So the question is can I throw the E-mag valve into the classic Mag for the day so I have another rocking Mag? Figure I'd ask the experts before I waste my time or break somthing.

    Thanks Gang.

    Short answer: YES

A little longer answer: Almost all valves are compatible with all rails/bodies. The only exception is the Classic RT. It uses a special air-thru-rail and banjo bolt where the field strip screw typically goes.

The valve should work in any AGD body except the RT Classic. I'm new to the level 10 bolt so I can't claim to know 100%, but I think that if you install it that valve into a different body you might need to re-tune it because of the change in clearance.

You could just install your body and valve on top of your friend's rail, sear and trigger frame though.

If it's a cocker threaded body you'll have to push out his twist-lock assembly though.

Yes, but need to change the on/off pin. The standard Emag on/off pin is .712, which is shorter than all others. So, take the on/off pin out of the classic valve and switch it with the one in the emag valve. = good to go.

Not if you keep the emag on/off o-rings. The emag on/off pin is shorter because of the quad o-ring in the on/off top. Keep the valve whole with the on/off and the pin. If you put a stock pin in with the quad o-ring, you will be lucky to get the marker to fire at 3 bps.

The valve should drop in as is. Get a fast bottle and RT that "old mag". With a stainless body and plastic feed elbow, most people won't know who was dumping a loader in their general direction.
