We will throw in a "Koozie" or two, with each Sydarm... Also include shirt size and color preference.

The long story behind these guys: Several years ago... When Jon was still with AGD, he sent me an e-mail stating that they found about 20 Sydarms in Tom's attic... WOOT! I talked to the check book, which told me we could buy about a dozen (which we did). Now... We owned the worlds supply (well, at least part of) of Sydarms, and they will never be produced again.

My local guys bought up a few of them, but once that rush was over, the rest have been sitting on the shelf in my little stock room. We don't get many random walk-in players that are looking for a Sydarm, so we have not sold any for a few years. We usually don't do "mail order" or internet sales, but these guys need homes, and a little "love".

So... If you are interested in one of the last NIB Sydarms on the planet, this is your chance.

              Enjoy.

Holy crap I WISH I had 400 bucks to buy one of these.

I have absolutely NO Idea why AGD doesn't produce these anymore. It seems like a complete no-brainer. They would sell like hotcakes. Are they allergic to making money or something? I understand limiting them to police training initially, but paintball side arms are pretty common now. Why not re-release the best one ever made?

I agree... Well... After the remaining 4, er... 3 are gobbled up... Then I agree. :)

The issue with the Sydarm, was related to production costs. The entire valve required a different machining process. Different specs, all around (including the bolt & power piston). One of the biggest hurdles, was attaching the two main tubes together, without damaging the O-ring between them. How do you braze (sp?) two tubes of stainless together, without melting the O-ring??? When I talked to Tom about it a few years ago, it was an "economy of scale" issue... The production costs (at every step of manufacturing) were higher per unit AND it is a low volume product, so discontinuation made economic sense. Even if they go back into production, there would still be little or no margin on the product. From the AGD viewpoint, it would be a large effort for zero return. Sorry to say... I wish Dave would bring back the E-Tac, but they just don't have the resources to introduce (or reintroduce) a new product line again.

Anyway... I'll still blame Smart Parts for anything I don't like! Hell, it feels "right" when I blame them for warm beer!

                            Cheers
