I just have a question concerning your current micromag setup. I have a micormag and am having a hard time finding a drop forward with a on/off to fit my gun. The reason I am having a problem is because the gas through foregrip (vertical adaptor) is so close to the trigger frame, making it impossible to run the macro line to the foregrip. The gas through foregrip and bottom of the drop forward ar like millimetres away. I once seen an adaptor that would move the foregrip towards the front like an inch or two (no I can't find out who makes it) Anyways any suggestions? Can you post some pics and give me the brand name of the products used.
Thanks a lot.

the product is made by KAPP. it is just called a foregrip extender. you can also look into the CP mini foregrip. it is only 3 inches long and allows you to put just about any drop you like on the gun.

I have the one piece gas thru grip. I cut mine off on a lathe two finger grooves from the bottem, countersunk the inlet hole so the macro fitting flush with the bottem. This shaved less than 1/2 the weight of the grip and looks sweet.

I thought of cuttin mine also, but thought there would be an easier way. xen 100 I checked out the KAPP site but was unable to find the product. I have emailed them, and hopefully they will get back to me. Anywas thanks for the help.
Anyone else?

The KAPP extender will not work w/ out some major modifications to your Micro(or maybe the extender) if it's like mine. My foregrip is held in by a screw going in the front and up at an angle. The KAPP needs the mounting screw coming down thru the rail like regular mags. You didn't mention what drop you were using. Would buying a different drop be easier? Or what about not using the foregrip as a gas thru and run your macro from the ASA to the valve? I had a Shocktech Stubby on mine and just had to use a 90* elbow and make a little loop w/ the SS line.

I have a pic but don't know where to upload it on the net to show you guys. I am not sure what drop forward I have, it's small and doesn't really drop at all. Just forward and then it makes the adaptor run a angle, so the entire tank comes off the gun on a angle. I went to a local paintball place and they had limited stock, I just don't want to buy something and it not work.
And your exactly right on how the the gas thru attaches to the frame, the little bolt is run up on a 45* angle into the frame of the gun.
I might have to try what you are saying, but I do enjoy how it is now, besides needing a larger drop forward. I am running macro line and don't want to have a long peice that I can get caught on something.
Thanks for the info

I just run mine from tank to valve. Couple angles so you can see how easy it is -

You just need a spacer of some sort for your drop if you have a long drop.

Thanks everyone for all the help, very much appreciated. Hey bad knees what is the size of that drop forward, how much forward and how much down. Oh yeah did you make that spacer or buy it, if so where did you get it?
Thanks Again

n8-J,

Cugo gave you the link to the company that both my drop and QD black come from. I didn't take exact measurements but I think it drops 3.5" down and moves the tank 5" forward? Check the website to see if they have the info. LMK if you need anything else.
