Did Tom/AGD use an Xmag, emag or ULT? How about William Shatner?

Thanks,

-Calvin

Shatner used a black Xmag w/ 68/4500 flatline and blue Halo. (Now in Kaiser Bob's possession)

Tom used his ULT mag with Chord body most of the day, except for the "Shootout at the OK Corral" mission, where he used a warped Emag. (The warp feed allowed Tom to win the shootout in a 1v1.)

Tom was using an Emag with a Warp and revy.

Shatner was using a black Xmag with a Halo.

Did William Shatner auction off his custom Xmag last year or something? If so thats kinda lame, that was a custom gift from Tom Kaye.
Why wouldnt he keep it for such occasions as returning to play paintball with it? (Like this year, duh, or supposedly next year?)
Ill shut up if the proceeds went to charity. Ill still be muttering under my breath in the corner though ;) How can you give away the nifty "Stun" and "Kill" Xmag???

the proceeds went to charity last year..and why save it when you can get a new one each year to auction off...more for the crippled kids. its not like tom wouldnt give him another one...else he might shoot a cocker. actually its probably part of the deal that he gets a new one to auction off each year. its a smart move by shatner and tom.

Actually, RobAGD was working on a cocker with Shatner's name laser engraved on it. He apparently had 3 guns to pick from.

Yeah, I saw that one somewhere, i completely forget where though. If memory serves though you could win it or buy it or something.

Boy, I sure didn't remember those details very well :(

No, I heard he backed out right before the event.

He had to back out on coming, but in the contrary I heard that he did this several weeks in advance before Shatnerball.

At the moment it looks like Shatner had the Stun and Kill Xmags stolen out of his bag at the airport. It will be pretty hard to peddle those babies!

We are still checking but thats why he went with the black gun last minute.

Yikes.. how did that happen? Never leave your baggage unattended :) Don't those annoucements get annoying after a while (Well every airport I've been to has someone saying that like every 10 mins)

That's just super. It's nice to know that people will steal anything that isn't surronded by a team a of Deltas.

And even then...

IF they treat paintball guns the same way they treat firearms, then the owner is required to attach a tag indicating the contents on the bag. They also make most people ship them in the cargo compartments of the aircraft. That tag is essentially a "steal me" marker.

You would not believe how many law enforcement people have had their guns stolen out of their baggage that way. The smart ones carry the dang things on. The baggage handlers are generally low paid and unsupervised, making this a fairly common occurance. You should see how much mail they steal while its being loaded on the planes.

This is in no way a negative comment about baggage handlers. Its just a bad few causing the problems.

I think bringing a gun on a plane as a carry-on would be pretty much impossible...

I guess that explains why Mrs. Shatner was using a black LCD Angel...someone will get caught with those 'mags...and I hope Tom beats them to death with a stick!

Instead of E and M on the switch, it said "Stun" and "Kill"

Shatner used the black Xmag, his wife used the LCD angel.

No, it isnt. Federal agents do it all the time. And honestly, Im not sure how they treat paintball guns. Maybe they found it in an X-ray and confiscated it, thinking it was a real gun. What should have happened is that the bag should not have been tagged (if it was indeed tagged) since the painball gun is not really a firearm.

Even if there was no tag, any bag is fair game for a dishonest baggage handler. Same thing happens with mail all the time in the post office.
