Those kids hands and fingers are ridiculously small.

My 5 year old brothers fingers' are probably the same size.

I played in a tourney yesterday with a guy that has a new Shocker. It was a pretty decent gun. Emphasis on "decent".

I shot one on the weekend... feels very 'cheap'. I didn't like it. It was very light though.

I shot one, I love it, mines on order. Gun weighs 1 lb 14 oz without tank!

Unfortunately, the inability of the 'shocket hater' to explain what his issue was diminishes his claim.

Personally, I bought one last week and played over the weekend. Overall, I was very pleased with the gun. We did have a barrel/paint match issue (more money), Also, air efficiency was the most notable change. We could only fill the tank to 3K which (combined with .684 paint and the stock .689 barrel) allow me to play 1 hopper and 3 guppies before I was empty. We'll see how things settle down as the gun breaks in.

One question that popped up a lot was, How will this affect AGD? All of us at the field are strong Mag fans and the shocker phsically is similar, albeit lighter. While I do miss the feel of the mechanical trigger. I find that I could get used to an electronic trigger readily.

with all this said, the shocker was a lot of fun on the speedball field. When playing rec ball in the woods I found I wished for my minimag or cocker. I have no need for a trigger that sensitive when trying to crawl under a bush.

The guy that runs my local shop got his shocker. He didn't like it so much. I shot it and liked how it shot but of course I haven't played a game with it. here are his words from another message board ( http://www.sacpaintball.com/cgi-bin/java/YaBB.cgi?board=MODESTO&action=display&num=1051602074&start=45 ):

Yes the new shocker does lick balls. Even after I put a jackhammer on it and separated the firing ond operating pressures, it still used 500lbs of air for every hopper. The way that it is out together is a whole other story. wait until next year when they get some of the bugs worked out. As for the DYE MAtrix, we should have 7 of them coming in this week. Blue, red, silver, and black. The reds and blue and two black are already sold. As for the price, you willl have to call to find out. I would hate for someone else to complain to our suppliers about our pricing. We do occasionally get in timmys. We don't seem to sell a lot of them but we of course can get anything you would like. If there is anything you would like to see more of, please feel free to say so or give us a call. Rob

I wonder how he attached the jack hammer and how did he separate the air feed? I'm not an airsmith, but I see only one inlet for the air. There are two set screws in the back and I was told one is a dead chamber.

Can someone explain how people are attaching an additional LPR to an '03 Shocker?

WARPED1
09-11-2003, 11:46 AM
Why the hell would he add an LPR?!! It would do absolutly nothing on an 03 Shocker.

I have no idea what he did. I guess what he didn'y do much of anything anyways. 500lbs per hopper.. damn, lol

Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside knowing Smart Parts made a lemon :)

I shot it and it shoots pretty decently, just that air useage..plus it feels pretty cheap, although that may be because they milled it so light.

spanky = FBM before 2000 (as sneaky hacker says...).

Mines 2k2.. therefore, FBM.

All 3 of the guys that work at my local shop pre-ordered a Shocker '03, I asked them all what they think of their shockers and all 3 at the same time said "junk", lol.. they went back to their E-Blades.

I saw Rob's Shocker that he put the LPR on.. yeah he removed the gas through and put on a LPR. As you all said... he said it did nothing. He was hoping to get a few more shots per tank. He has an 88ci but mainly uses scubas to fill it (3k psi) and he can't shoot 3 pods and a hopper. That's pretty bad.. lol

I give the finger to soo many guns and other inanimate objects it's silly. Finally someone else who does the same thing!!

Oh I like the shocker I have. My only complaint is that I feel silly with such a tiny gun.
