Next X-Mag Batch: Where you all at?

I just wanted to have everyone who is in the next batch of X-Mags come in here and talk about how we can wait since we're down the home stretch and our markers are at ano right now and should be back fairly soon (not like next week, but at least we're not still waiting for our first call).

Ummm..I said NOT like next week...we're close to half-way through the 6-8 week wait so, as far as I see it, we're on the home stretch...

i think it should be understood that phil has one in every batch

i know this is sorta off topic, but when 3.0 does come out we can simply send ours in for a free update correct?

cuz i already had a green one that i bought at my local pro shop, i wish i would have waited for mine though, cuz then i could have gotten my blue one:( . o well i guess i got one and i still love it but i still wish it was blue, maybe i will send it in for reann or sumtin. i wish i had more patients like you guys. hope you like em when you get em.

hey i have a question, if you are 239 do you get serial number xm000239, cuz i thought the serial number on the x is the one you were assigned in for waiting. or does it not work that way???

I dunno, I think mine will prolly be higher than that. I have seen upper 200's for serial numbers in pics already.

ahhh now i got it. ok i am still debating whether to leave my x the same color it is now, Green or get it annoed like royal blue to sky blue or sumtin??? you have any suggestions on that???

well, i wouldn't recommend re-anoing an X-mag because it will throw the tolerances all out of whack but ultimately it's your decision...i would have just waited...but oh well..

I believe the stripping process also removes some of the aluminum underneath. The reason you cannot re-anno Vikings is because the type 3 anno requires even nastier junk to get it off, removes a lot more metal, and definately throws everything out of whack.

yea that type 3 anno looks like it would be really hard, did you see the thread where they guy got the featherlight viking? That thing was a beaut!

Yeah, its pretty sweet. Thats the only downside to my Viking. I wish I had coughed up the extra dough and got a fancier one.

Yeah,actually one of the reasons I never preordered was I couldn't deceide a color combo.I'm so tired of trying to match accessories to existing colors and have them "almost" match.So this kills to birds with one X,I'm digging the black to silver fade and those have to be some of the easiest colors to try and match up.:D Personally I haven't seen one in that fade so I'm real curious to seee what it looks like.Anyone else see one Fade Black to Silver front to back?

It's a Benchmark Twister. They made a few,pretty neat looking.

Benchmark(Proteam,Armson,GunFX) have some really neat ideas and some potentially great products,it's a shame thier marketing,production and ability to meet demand sucks.

I also got the call bout 4 weeks ago, so I'm hopeing mine is in this batch as well, although i asked them if they could mill MAGNUM into mine so if they did it will probably take longer. When I ordered I was young and viral, but now the hair is grey and falling out but I'm still hangin in there. It would be TOOOOOO kool if I saw mine in the pics Tom posts.
