The strange things I think of when working nights

I know there are no rise bodies and feed necks for many of the high end markers but has anyone thought to make a hopper with a threaded feed neck.
Do you guys think there would be a way to make this work. Well theres the idea now I pass this off to the AO community... Start Running with it.

Plastic = cheap and easy to manufacture.
Molded/milled metal = not cheap and harder to make.

Its also much easier screw something the size of a hopper into a smaller finely threaded hole and accidentally cross thread it.

its been done. A company made a hopper that has plastic threads that screw in. It comes with a special elbow. Its made by the company that makes the Commando markers

Plus... you guys know the differences in threading between different kinds of barrels... imagine what would happen with hoppers!!

Stills screws into an elbow. I think he was looking for a hopper that screwed directly into the markers body and eliminated the need for an elbow or vert feed neck completely.

it does screw into the guns feedneck. Only the commando 2's feedneck though. Look at the first pic on the link it screwsinto a special vert feed neck.

Smart Parts has something similar for there guns called the twister feed. Its a ring that permanently stays on your hopper, that you screw onto and off of the rest of the feedneck attatched to the gun. Sounds like a good idea to me.

The spinloader is a good idea so then nubs (well it happens to everyone) dont fall and have their loader fall off..

A big oring in a groove of the loader neck is more practical. I think Richochetes have this.

I wasn't thinking of keeping the hopper from falling I was thinking about profile. Think about having your HALO b (which works best with the shortest ball stack)sit about one inch lower due to it having only enough feed neck to thread in. Yes I know plastic is weak I would say metal is best

i liked the idea, so i did it to one of my test shells. seems to work fine, i just made the top oring too high though.

NW also makes feenecks with large o rings in them. I personally use one on my angel :D
