Hey all. I live in North Dakota so I dont really have access to any pro shops or anything- thus the nature of my question... I just got a new mag and flatline off ebay, and was wondering if a kapp drop zone II would clamp well enough behind the second pressure gage, right before the tank... (ive only seen pictures of the tank so am not too familiar with it.) I like the kapp DZ style of drop where i can offset the tank to either side and like my tank that far forward and under the grip. Any other options? thanks for the help in advance-

Well I would never suggest that any one actualy use a Drop Zone.

Several reason are that if your gun/tank is that short your not going to be very accurate or quick with a snap shop, you will have to move you head around your gun to aim and its not a natural way to hold the gun when your shooting as it also kinks out your wrist at a screwed up angle.

Next it also makes you gun sit even higher, all that does is make your loader stick out even more while your shooting.

My suggestion would be to get a ProTeam Products Flatline Sleeve and then get a CP Perfect Drop/Rail and mount that up. Your aim point will be a lot more consistant, you not screwing your wrist up holding the gun and you not making the gun 4" taller than you have to.

It will look like this

There is a reason why you dont see most of the Pro players using huge drops. Makes shooting things harder.

I personally use a rail mount
but if you want it to drop take a look at datapimps drops here (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66240)
