XValve leaking between the valve halves, inconsistently

On my EMag I ran into a new problem I have not seen before. Some times when I gassed up there would be a very large leak coming out from between the two valve halves. I could make the problem go away by degassing and re-gassing the valve a few times. The only thing that looks slightly strange when taking it apart is that the Regulator Seal Holder is loose, it sits on the Reg Valve pin assembly ok, but doesn’t really stay tight like it does on my ReTro.

Have no idea if this will help or not, but with my old classic valve I screwed it together too far and it was leaking from between the halves. I backed it up a little, and it didn't leak again.

check to see if you have any cuts in the big fatty oring on the back half of the valve....or was it the front half.....

I checked that. I also suspect that any cuts would create a consistant leak, not this strange inconsistant leak I'm seeing.

check your regulator seat that was my prob make sure it is pushed all the way in and it stays in place.
