OK, probably a dumb question. What exactly is the SFL mag and is it better / equal to the X-mag?

Kinda off subject, but what is the Tuna-bolt about and where did it come from?

One more question! I see E-max on some bolts (electric-like E), what is that?

SFL have all aluminum bodies made by Shocketch. They are internally the same as an X-Mag. They can be modded by AGD (for free) to accpet an Anti-Chop eye like the one on the X. So, other than looks on the body, they are the same marker. They are also rarer than the X (~200 Xmags ~30 SFL EMags)

there is no "tuna-bolt" that I know of. there is a Level 10 Bolt (LX) that is made by AGD and is made to prevent chops. It does a FANTASTIC job as everyone here will tell you

The EMaX valve is the new logo engraving on the emags to denote it is an emag and it has the 'x' valve (all aluminum body, level 10 bolt)

you can get an xmag, but you'll have a harder time getting an sfl emag :)

I believe the tunabolt is an Xvalve with a tuna engraved on it. Check out Jack&Coke's thread of his Tunamax.

Like Kevmag said, it's a Shocktech E-mag. The weight is about the same, but there are a few differences. There is a special lvl. 10 kit for the SFL. I would say they are about the same, just some minor differences with the way it was made.

I've never heard it as Tunabolt, but yes, Tunaman adds an engraving to the X-valves. Jack and Coke has one. Check it out.

Sorry, but by Tuna-bolt i actually was referring to the Tuna I see engraved on the back of some valves. This is just something that Tunaman does when he sells/distributes them?

yes, as Jack and Coke's mag. If you order a custom emag from Tunaman here on hte forums (send him a PM for a quote) it will come with the tuna engraved into it.

Yeah, they managed to get a special run of magic elves to put in the SFLs, but they ran out pretty quick, which is why they stopped. ;)

how could they be any different other then milling and the shocktech on the board when it boots up. They are both emags. A big old battery, an RT valve, and a noid to trip the sear (overly simplified). Although I think i dig the sfl looks better.

Sarcasm dude...

All the guys who say that the SFL is better OWN SFL's.

Yes, what you are calling the Tuna bolt is actually the X valve, with tunamans logo engraved on it. Valve = not bolt.

Is the SFL bolt interchangeable with a standard level 10 bolt?

You can run a std lvl10 bolt in an sfl but not the other way around. The sfl bolt has an increased diameter at the tip of it.

which would void your warrenty?

No. Because it was done by AGD themselves.

SFL vs Xmag

Basically think of it as different millings of the same gun. Like taking an angel and putting some milling on it.

I don't know, if I had a choice, I would pick the X-Mag over the SFL. Made by AGD, and with proper measurements.

I owned an SFL E-Mag, and had to get the opening for the bolt shaved down to accept Lvl. 10 (the one for the SFL) The opening was an oval shape and wouldn't let either bolt (SFL and regular) fit. Needless to say, after a lot of chopping, it was fixed.
