Welp, i just got to putting the datapimp drop i got on my flatline on, and first thing i noticed is it didnt quite clear the bottle, it was too short by only a matter of a millimeter or so, so i tried to work it on, not only did that scratch the tank a bit, but in the process of working it on, the thing bent right at the maxi screw hole! i pushed it on anyway, but it wont go on all the way as its all bent up, and im not looking forward to trying to get it off.... damn discount specials! :)

Umm...and this was the Flatline drop and you were putting it on a flatline? That's odd, mine fit perfectly.

did you have the hulk hands on?

and when it did bend why would you think i should push it on more ?

i will send you out another one.

and next time install it right.

i thought you had read the instrutions in the thread.

when you put it in the clamp dont tighten it yet.

hold the drop by the part that goes to the gun.

lift up on it. then tighten the clamp.

this 1* change is what is needed to clear the tank.

I made the same mistake with my first one. Well actually some of the guys that took it up to College Nationals did I think. And Data graciously replaced it. Don't tighten those two screws at the tank strap till you get it at the right angle and its slipping on right. And if its hard to get on then they have slipped and you need to lossen them first, then place it on and then retighten the two bolts on the tank strap. They can slip a bit. And the problem can recur occasionaly. Its hard to get those two bolts tight enough to deal with every jar and compression that might occur.
