...this is pretty bad

Edit: A little update, the tree fell. We were inside and we could hear it coming down, scraping the side of the house all the way down. Breaking gutters and chipping deck railings, taking out fence, and breaking walkways, but it missed everything it possibly could and landed in the best possible place. It could have came through our house and it could have totaly messed up our deck, but all was minimal damage. Pics below

Fairfax County residents are being urged to conserve and boil their water.

Power has been lost at all three water supply plants in the county, leaving water supply levels critically low and possibly unsafe.

As a precaution, Fairfax County Water Authority spokesman Don Schmidt says residents are being urged to conserve and boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, washing dishes and brushing teeth.

Water should be brought to a boil for one minute and allowed to cool, or bottled water should be used.

Meanwhile, in Vienna, residents are being asked to ration water limiting water use to drinking water only.

Our water is brown and there is very little pressure!

AND a 5 foot diameter tree maybe 125 ft high almost hit our house, now it is leaning at 45 degrees. Pics later, will cost about 4 billion to take out

The last hurricane that hit, I guess about 4 years ago, a big tree fell and lopped off the corner of my mom's house.

Almost killed our dog. My mom had to run him to the vet in the middle of the night in a huricane.

Oh what happened? A vet was open in a hurricane also?

Our neighbors have this huge tree, right on the border or our property. The thing is leaning over out house, its on a hill which errordes more every time it rails. Its only a matter of time before this thing comes down, but they refure to do anything about the tree. And this is only about 30ft away :(

The vet likes our dog and has known my mom for years, so he made the trip and in my dog recovered just fine.

just FYI pyro, in most states, they are required, by law, to pay for the removal of the tree.

NOOOOOO!!!!! NOT THE AWESOME BIG TREE!!!!!!
Wow, I think we've shot about 3 gazillion paintballs into that tree, from almost as many different guns...
Good thing your house is okay though... lol it woulda been awesome if it had fallen onto the community pool right BEHIND your house, though!!

Argg i hate big trees, my house is surounded by big pine trees and one of them was dying so we had to have it pulled down, well the people messed up and the tree fell the wrong way and completly destroyed my trampoline, and screwed one of the platforms on my half pipe. But it was really cool to watch.

imagine it had stayed a category 5 hurricane instead of hitting us as a category 2.
