kaiser - is that an X-valve you're using or regular automag valve?? Cool videos!!

ULT? Wait a second, dont you need the Centerflag on/off ?

Nope. The centerflag on/off is really an on/off assembly that was designed to make the pull lighter, thereby making it easier on the solenoid. The ULT goes much farther in its lightening ability however, so its the natural choice for a hyperframe. To those hyperframe users, my pulse settings are 04 01 01 and it operates flawlessly. hitting 20bps at 700 psi is nice too. :)

have you noticed any sear/bolt damage?

None.

I would be worried about bolt sear wear with settings that low. Also, have you had the level 10 "reset" with those settings (I didn't watch the vid, sorry)?

I liked the longer solenoid dwell. A 170mah battery lasts way over a days work so it seems worth it. BTW, the longer settings still allow it to shoot 20bps fullauto. :D

Here is the video with the long dwell:

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I couldn't resist a chance to post that again. :D

SWEET!!! thanks for restoring my faith in hyperframes... my friend has one and it's a POS. IT can do anywhere close to that ROF without misfiring, chopping and chewing the bolt all to hell. I thought they would never fix the issues... but apparently I was wrong. Nice vids.. could be longer though ;)

Dennis from centerflag said that if you can get it to shoot at 01 01 then go for it. It runs at 20bps no problem at those settings, and the tank is running 650-700psi no less. I would suggest running a halo directly if one were to actually play with the full auto, or at least bump the warp to 12v to ensure proper feeding. I have no paint at the moment, but i could make a longer full auto vid of it dryfiring if anyone thought it necessary.

PS - still no sear/bolt wear, i really dont think its going to happen with the lvl 10.

All that thing needs now is one of those slim Detroit rails like Kayle had. Not to take anything away from your 2am dremel in the bathroom mill job;)

I ordered an omega rail from tuna already :P

KB kept me up until 2am the evening before Shaterball cutting the stock rail so that the ULE warp body would fit. He bought that gun as pieces the Saturday before Shatnerball so he could have it for the next day. Since I just happened to have my dremel with me and since he just happened to be rooming with me (what else is new?:)) there he was, cutting the rail in the bathroom of the hotel at 2am with the bath tub water running to cut down on the noise. I am sure the people in the next room over loved this;)

Maybe, but the eMag has a longer dwell time to avoid sear/bolt wear problems. Ask Tom about short dwell times. Besides, why not increase the dwell time?

back in the day I had an emag with a morlock board and that was with lvl 7 and lvl 10 and didnt get any bolt or sear wear from extended runs at 20 bps... and as far as the centerflag settings, im not 100% clear on what they are exactly, but I am pretty sure it involves pulse strength, not dwell.

As I understand it from talking with Centerflag (I did not talk to Dennis about this, can't remember who it was) and from playing around with it, this is what the settings mean:

15 - 05. This is the Initial Setting (default is 05). This is the amount of time (in milli-seconds) the solenoid is energized.

Fd - 20. This is the Fire Delay. This is the "frequency" (in micro-seconds) of the current pulse once the solenoid is closed.

Fn - 50. This is the Fire Number. This is the solenoid return time (in milli-seconds). The larger the number the slower the return.

That would make the first number control the dwell, and the second and third numbers would provide additional dwell with a pulsed current to the solenoid.
