Long drive!!! Got home late last night. That was alot of fun. I didn't get to stay for the night games and I missed the final battle. I had the wife with me back at the hotel so I had to do some compromising to keep everyone happy :D

I was on the red team and we were doing pretty good both days. What was the final score? What happened in the final battle?

This was my first MXS scenario game. We don't get much in the way of scenarios in the northwest so I found it interesting. I enjoyed the second day when it seemed that exotic weaponry and the helicopter starting playing more of a role. In one push they launched several smoke grenades. Running over the ridge under the cover of smoke was a rush.

Now the downside. My mag was acting up all weekend. I have Level 10 tuned with the longest spring to 285 and it works great. It will consistantly chronograph in that range and work flawlessly. Dialing it in under 280, however, was a problem. I could get it shooting from 260 to 270 but level 10 was constantly engaging. It just would not work right and stupid me I forgot to bring my Level 10 kit so that I could change from the longest spring.

I took a bunch of photos. I'll scan some and post them up here for your viewing pleasure. I just wish I got a picture of the people launching the smoke grenades. That was too cool!!! :D

Don't worry Aaron we won.

We beat them by 8 missions and became the first team to have won from the downhill side at the field.

The final battle was intense. We took the right side of the uphill tire field (that field was the location for the final battle) and with that were picking off anybody even coming close to the objective area. Evil Inc. had at least three warped e-mags in the objective and were just dropping them for their teamates to use when they were hit. At the end of the game we had four E-mags and an X-mag all warped and two people with just extra paint all in the objective.
It was brutal.

My mag was acting up all weekend as well. In fact I spent all morning trouble shooting it until I ran out of air. I'm pretty sure I've got it figured out now though.

My buddies X-mag worked flawlessly once I dialed in his LV10.

It was by far the most fun I've had a scenario. Elmo (from Evil Inc.) with that smoke shooting LAW was indeed spectacular.

I figured we would win. I know I could have got my mag working with level 10 if I had brought the rests of the stupid springs!!!!!

I had fun as well but would have had alot more fun if the mag had been working properly. Half the time I got shot it was when I was purposely shooting at a bunker behind me to get level 10 to quit engaging. Gets kind of frustrating.

Was his Law the one that shot the smoke grenades? That one was cool!

My stepson want to make the MXS game a yearly event (he had far more fun than I since his Omen was working pretty good the entire time).

That would have been the guy. he had pretty much unlimited access to the smoke since he was the one selling it.

I've only played MXS scenarios so far, but they put on a great show. There was talk between Pacman and Herbie about some modifications to the field for next year after the game. Something about the hills.

Yea that law was Elmo's. I was the lucky one that had to load it when we were firing off those smokes. I must say that was really effective.
Sorry you had problems with the level 10. If you would of come by the evil trail, I had my whole kit with me.
Yea that final battle was intense, and the contico once again served the purpose of getting a lot of paint out there for all to shoot. That musical gun game we were playing certainly was amusing.Incase you didn't see what Evil Inc does. We have 2 contico's that are just filled with pods. We use them this way because it makes that turn around time back to the field that much quicker.
Now I just have to fix the trigger on the E-mag. I think I got it just a little too light....
Aaron, we look forward to seeing you again in Reno.
If you are looking for other games, I know Viper is doing a 24 hour game in Phoenix on November 8-9.
Thank you all for coming.

Just like a tree hugging hippie!:p

You never stay to see the job through. You put in your best efforts and then take off leaving your poor team shorthanded!;) :p

Glad you had fun! You need to come visit us on the east coast some day for a real scenario game!;)

For whatever reason we on the west coast are scenario deprived....

My wife had a day of spa treatment and I have to admit there were a couple times when I was hot and dirty that I started envying her! I guess I'm too much of a wimp to be a true paintballer..

The good news is that I won enough for a case of paint in roulette on Saturday night (used it for Sunday). I never win but because I was so tired I was on autopilot. When I went to cash out I was amazed to discover I had turned $20 into over $100. While it is small change I've never actually left a casino ahead before.....
